The Technicolors - Sweet Time
[E]very once in a while, we just need a ballsy rock-n-roll sound to kick start our day / month / etc. This might be that song, this might be that band. Enter, the Technicolors. Bluesy rock, with an Oasis like vocal set, its an exciting sound that’s both classic and refreshingly modern sounding. Admittedly, I’m way late to the game and will not claim them in the hipster sweepstakes of “I found them first,” but who cares, its an awesome sounding track.
The Technicolors are based out of Phoenix, AZ and recently released their latest effort Listener, back in June. The record was produced by 22-year-old lead singer, Brennan Smiley, who grew up playing on records his father produced and had plans to move to Nashville be a session musician, lucky for us, he’s recorded his own record.
