The Long Winters long awaited new single, Connections in Nashville
I’ve been a huge fan of the Long Winters since their release of When I Pretend to Fall, in 2003. I’ve always enjoyed singer / songwriter John Roderick’s voice and tone in his writing. He’s a fantastic songwriter, that has proven time and time again that he can write not only catchy songs, but emotionally poignant songs that have a lot of power.
The new track, Connections in Nashville, was created as a split single with band, Spiral Stairs. It marks the first single from the Long Winters since 2006 release, Putting the Days to Bed. Not sure if this means a LP is forthcoming or not, but it’s something to be very excited about.
The single is available on Mt. Fuji Records, and downloadable via iTunes.
