The latest edition in the WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight shines once again on the wonderful country of Norway and this time focuses on Oslo quartet Wet Dreams. Their kick-ass new single, “Bad Boy,” is from the band’s upcoming debut self-titled album which will be released on March 29th via Black Pop Records.
Wet Dreams is a project started in 2015 by Sebastian Ulstad Olsen frontman of Death By Unga Bunga when he found himself with a few songs that felt out of place in his current band. Gathering Eimund Aadahl and Per-Richard Ottosen from Warp Riders, and Bendik Pettersen from FOAMMM the newly formed band took their love of American psychedelic rock and power-punk and created a Nordic rock-n-roll force to be reckoned with!
With an EP released in 2017, and the coming release of their anticipated full-length album, these guys are setting things up to be on everyone’s radar. This year alone they have played major festivals in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Following the new release in March 2019 Wet Dreams will set fire to stages here in the US… and I will be front and center high-kicking along with Sebastian.
