Song of the Week | Chloe Foy – Oh You Are Not Well
The WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is once again aimed at the UK and this week it shines directly on musician Chloe Foy with the release of her stellar new single, “Oh You Are Not Well.”
Foy discovered her love of music early on in her hometown of Gloucestershire and would go on to attend the Gloucester Academy of Music where she became a classically trained pianist and cellist. You can hear just how that training was utilized listening to her first single, “I’ve Got a Feeling,” released in 2012.
2016 saw the release of her debut EP, In the Middle of the Night, with the title track going on to be quite a hit and putting her in the million-plus plays elite class on Spotify. The following year the musician released her critically acclaimed sophomore EP, Are We There Yet?, which featured another big single, “Flaws” that racked up the listeners and brought new fans to the Foy fold.
On top of all that she was recently listed as “One To Watch” for 2019 on BBC Introducing by Radio 3’s Late Junction, has a debut full-length album on the way, as well as an upcoming headline spring tour and a string of major festival appearances confirmed! Yeah, this is going to be a big year for the talented musician!
I am super excited to share the new single, “Oh You Are Not Well” with you all and implore each and every one of you to search for and listen to the impressive amount of music Foy has already created and released. You will not be disappointed!
Also remember to support musicians by purchasing their music! You can buy her two EP’s over on her Bandcamp page.
