Ryan Monroe – Any Way, Shape Or Deformity

Paste has recently posted a stream of Ryan Monroe’s new album A Painting of a Painting On Fire, which releases on June 12th; and if you haven’t been made acquaintance with Monroe’s music, he also has released two singles, one of which I posted a short while ago, and this new one “Any Way, Shape Or Deformity,” an ELO-like single that is delightful, a little silly, but altogether a really fun sound (which to me feels a little Dr. Dog-ish).  The record is shaping up to be quite an eclectic set of songs, with influences mapped all over the progressive 70’s rock era.
