Brent Cobb’s soulful blue collar country stylings captivated us last week, at The Sinclair. Cobb and his band “Them” delivered us from the red brick of Harvard yard to the mythological land of rural Georgia. After hitting the road opening for Chris Stapleton throughout ’19 it’s pretty obvious these guys have picked up a few things for captivating a huge audience. We were just lucky to be in a much smaller venue, and could feel guitarist Mike Harris’ slide guitar set your hair back and Cobb’s warm vocal delivery that’s a little friendly and has a little bite to it.. Cruising through his fantastic albums, Providence Canyon, and Shine on Rainy Day, the crowd lit up for tracks like “Mornin’ Gonna Come’ ‘Ain’t a Road too Long’ and ‘Traveling Poor Boy.’ The band really elevated Cobb’s songs, and made this night, and we were treated to an encore with opener The National Reserve helping out on Waylon / Willie’s “I Can Get Off On You”.

Be sure to catch Cobb and Them on their tour, Check out our photos from the night from @bosconcertphoto
