On occasion, life presents you with the opportunity to experience something that will completely change your week. This past Thursday, that exact thing happened for a lucky group of folks in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Traveling troubadour Christoper Paul Stelling brought his incredible talents (and his adorable dog Opie,) to an intimate performance space at the Charles River Museum of Industry as part of the 2nd SHIFT Music Series—curated by the equally talented Mark Erelli—and it was nothing short of enthralling. Captivating? Amazing? Cathartic? You get the idea...
Stelling—known for his intricate finger-style guitar work, road tested vocal delivery, and introspective lyrics—turned his time on stage into an experience that had folks shaking their heads in wonder, laughing and singing along to tales of love, creativity and angst. Something I'm quite sure those in attendance will agree was a much needed release.
CPS will be on tour through the beginning of December, so be sure to catch up with him and Opie while you have the chance!
