have been working their way up through the Seattle scene in the last few months, and their music is beautiful and addicting.
The two ladies, Kendra Cox and Meagan Grandall, are from the same small town on Puget Sound, Poulsbo. Their namesake comes from the street that both girls lived on growing up. And Cox and Meagan said they wrote Whale Song as an ode to childhood for a six-year-old neighbor who lived on their street. It speaks perfectly of friendship bracelets, summers on the beach and sing-alongs.
According to their website they’re currently working on their first full-length album that will hopefully be out sometime this winter.
If you’re on the West Coast, their lineup with The Head and the Heart is sure to be an amazing show live.
