[L]os Angeles California’s He’s My Brother She’s My Sister and their rambling gypsy/hippie folk stylings will be bringing us here in Boston an evening of great music later next month (10/23 @ the Middle East) in an effort to support their upcoming LP, Nobody Dances in this Town, out in 2013 on Park the Van Records. Check out single “Electric Love,” a jangly folk rock number featuring the sibling vocalists Robert and Rachel Kolar, in a rockin track that will have you bobbing your head, and chair dancing along.
Having cut their teeth over the past year, the band has played 150+ live performances, with near-capacity crowds in 16 major US cities, they have toured extensively, sharing the stage with Neko Case, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Charles Bradley, The Blow, Local Natives, Dawes, Dr. Dog, My Morning Jacket, and many others, these guys are ready to make an impact, and this LP will definitely do that.
