New Music | Communist Daughter - Ghosts
[B]ack in the early 2000’s Communist Daughter’s Johnny Solomon was part of the Twin Cities music scene as part of the indie pop band Friends Like These, a touring band and a young guy with a promising musical career. His struggle with addiction had put him in jail and almost cost him his music career. He met a girl, singer Molly who promised to play with him as soon as he cleaned himself up. After a stint in rehab and now clean in Sober, Solomon and his now engaged fiancee Molly Moore are joined by a group of musicians to release a new EP under the name Communist Daughter. Their release Lions & Lambs EP, will be out July 10th on Grain Belt Records.
Check out the first single “Ghosts,” a track with lush arrangements that build with pulsing guitars and pounding drums. Its a really large sound that begs to be played at the higher volumes.
